Researcher fellow of the Innovation Academy of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences(IAIEAS) JIN Anjun, was invited to the Second global summit on Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability as the conference chair, reviewer, and keynote speaker.
From September 18 to 19, 2025, the ‘Global Summit on Climate Change 2025’ and the ‘International Conference on Environmental Sustainability’ were successfully held at the Sonesta Hotel in Los Angeles Airport. The conference centered on ‘Addressing Climate Change and Promoting Sustainable Development,’ gathering global experts and representatives for in-depth discussions and exchanges. Academician Jin served as the Summit Chair and technology reviewer of the summit; he oversees the agenda design and guides the discussion process. The two-days conference focused on three key areas: climate change, response strategies, environmental sustainability construction, and coordinated development of energy, carbon environment and carbon economy, aiming to foster multinational consensus and pragmatic action.
The meeting brought together speakers from eight countries: China, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, and Poland, along with around sixty representatives, researchers, and business representatives from over ten nations to discuss topics such as new energy transition, carbon reduction implementation paths, and international climate policy coordination, resulting in several positive agreements. During the conference, the organizers arranged for attendees to visit the University of California, Los Angeles, for exchanges related to climate-related research. The exchanges aimed to promote the integration and collaboration of industry-academic-research resources.
Academician Jin Anjun delivered a keynote report at the ‘Global Summit on Climate Change 2025,’ where he systematically elaborated China’s practices and prospects in the decarbonization process, energy structure optimization, and greenhouse gas transformation technologies. Additionally, during the ‘Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability,’ he engaged great dialogues with several speakers on issue such as low-carbon technologies and development integration. he guided wonderful agenda and sparked enthusiastic responses among the audience.
This conference established an efficient dialogue mechanism for international climate cooperation; the relevant discussion outcomes and video recordings will provide a solid foundation for future in multinational climate action and policy formulation.
