On October 1, 2025, the second meeting of the 4th BRICS Working Group on Geospatial Technologies and Their Applications took place. During this meeting, proposals from BRICS countries regarding joint programs, strategies, and plans for the Working Group for 2026 and subsequent years were presented and discussed. Representatives from Brazil, China, India, Iran, Russia, and South Africa delivered reports.From Russia, a report on the topic “Proposals of the Russian Federation on Joint Programs, Strategies, and Plans of the Working Group on Geospatial Technologies and Their Applications (2026–2027)” was presented by the Coordinator of the Working Group from Russia, the Scientific Director of the Research Institute ‘AEROCOSMOS’, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of IAIEAS, V.G. Bondur.
